Fashion Queensland’s Fashion on Concours, presented by Aria Property Group

Fashion Queensland’s Fashion on Concours, presented by Aria Property Group, was a highlight of Noosa Concours and a special feature of Miss Moneypenny’s Oliver’s Taranga Long Lunch.

My journey was to cover the annual Fashion Queensland show, run by Laura Churchill and her team.

With a new location at Miss Moneypenny’s Restaurant and a new vibe, the show kicked off at 3 pm, and within minutes models took to the runway in designs from Hastings Street and Noosa retailers, including Husk, Camilla, Cable, Little Cove Collective, Boom Shankar and It’s a Fad by Sara Leonardi.

Models walked from Miss Moneypenny’s deck onto Hastings Street to the waiting crowd, a mix of fashion and car enthusiasts gathered for a spectacular day of exotic cars on display at the annual show.

While talking with Laura, I asked why she keeps coming back to Noosa.

It’s a great place for fashion, food, and relaxation for those on holidays, and Noosa keeps on giving to those with perfect weather and the beach on the other side; it’s just a beautiful place in Queensland, and the fashion speaks for itself.

With Noosa having many high-end fashion boutiques, it’s a pleasure to bring many of them to the show and introduce them to a new audience.

I hope that after the show, the fashion audience may venture over to the shops and take a closer look at the designs.
