Innovation Lead Jonqull and her team have launched a pop-up fashion boutique in Latrobe Terrace in Paddington, an inner-western Brisbane suburb.
Supporting Queensland fashion, along with skincare and other fashion accessories, for the next three months.
If successful, the boutique may remain open longer.
The Boutique will feature a rotating selection of designers, offering customers a variety of new outfits and providing emerging designers with opportunities to showcase their work.
Social media and foot traffic will help attract visitors to discover the latest designs.
Saturday night’s opening drew a strong crowd, with standing-room-only and refreshments provided. It offered an excellent opportunity to network with designers and models.
Before the runway show began, designs were displayed in the shop. High interest made the wait worthwhile.
Host Carlie Wacker then announced the start of the fashion runway, the evening’s highlight.
The red carpet was prepared for the models, and attendees gathered to watch the show.
